Rating: Summary: Really not all that terribly good Review: The Hellraiser series of movies have been uneven, although I think 2 was the best. These stories don't have much to do with the mythology of the movies, instead re-creating the horror without the depth.I used to read the series of graphics occassionally. Like with Heavy Metal, the stories hit sharp just often enough that I'd revisit every once in awhile. This collection couldn't keep me interested long enough to finish. Just really not terribly good.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Graphic Collection Review: This collection of comics from the Hellraiser series is a must-own for any Hellraiser fan. The stories are entertaining, often complex, and beautifully drawn by the artists. Certain stories will keep you on the edge of your seat, while others will send you into a contemplative quandry for a time. The artwork alone is worth the price. Highly recommended for both Hellraiser and comic book fans.
Rating: Summary: Tsanger Banger's Answers Review: This collects 12 stories (if you count Harrowing as two), though some early prepublication materials said there would be 13. The complete list can be seen by hitting the Table of Contents link on the upper left of this page. The Vault is not here, nor is Lips. Not sure on actual issue numbers, but years of publication are Dead Man's Hand (1989), Harrowing I and II (1992), For My Son (1992), Like Flies to Wanton Boys (1990), The Girl in the Peephole (1992), Wordsworth (1992), Mazes of the Mind (1990), Dead Things Rot (1992), Dear Diary (1992), Death Where Is Thy Sting? (1992), Losing Herself in the Part (1991). Hope this helps.

Rating: Summary: Hellraiser: Collected Best first edition 2002 review & info Review: This is a review and also more of a query as well. Descrip: 13 stories compiled from 20 previously published comics from the 1989-94 by Epic Comics (a defunct Marvel subdivision), NOW published by new guys Checker Books (who have also picked up other Epic leftovers, Checker is not directly affilated with Marvel). There were also several misc Specials, and offshoots of the Hellraiser comics. See clivebarker.com for full info. OF the 13 stories here, 1 is new and written by Barker himself. Other writers include: Neil Gaiman, D.G. Chichester and Scott Hampton. What I'd like to see in the next review is a full list of which stories and from which issues they are from, as I have *most* of the original comics. Does anyone know? I do not have 5 of these stories. I have been unable to find a complete list of the stories compiled here. His URL lists the original stories & issues to cross-reference. I know some of the stories offhand: 1) The Harrowing Part One:Resurrection-from Book 17, 2) The Harrowing: Part Two:Insurrection-from Book 18, 3) For my Son (from Summer Special), 4) new story by Barker, 5) Wordsworth by Neil Gaiman-from Book 20, 6)Dead mans hand-from Book 1, 7) With My Lips-from Book 12, 8) The Vault-from Book 2, 9) Like Flies to Wanton Boys-from Book 4, 10) what are the rest? Is is worth it to buy if u already own half the stories? Maybe. Where else can u get em? Post the list here and email me!
