Summary: kit's wilderness review
Review: In our class, we have read kit's wilderness. i thought it was an excellant book, i agree with another one of the reviews, that "the magic that connects us to familys long gone. the magic that connects humans to the land. as kit's grandfather puts it the tales and memories and dreams that keep the world alive." i think this review is a brilliant way to describe the magic of the book. i think it was quite an easy book to understand, unlike shakespears stories, i find shakespear hard to understand. I thought kits wilderness was, excellent, magical and exciting.

Summary: Daivd Almonds Masterpiece
Review: Kit's Wilderess is an inspiring book for any reader. Kit's adventures start in Stoneygate. The book moves on to reveal more mysterious and magical tales. The dark-minded Askew draws Kit and his new school mates into the game called Death. Is this game quite what it seems? Will Kit draw Askew into the Light? Or will the baby in Askew still be trapped? A magnificent read. Truly one of David Almonds Masterpieces. This book will appeal to any young reader that enjoys mysterious adventures. Another one of David Almond's brilliant books is Skelig. We recommend reading it.

Summary: Kit's wilderness --David almond
Review: I agree with the bit Death because Granpa dies and Kit has a game called death. I dont agree with the bit where it say's the Game called death but no one dies. The game shoud'nt be called death because no one dies. The book is diffrent to other books iv'e read it is strange, sad, serious story and i liked burning bush the most beacause she kept spying on kit. I think kit was naughty in kit's wilderness because he was playing a game but he didnt tell his granpa or his mum or dad.
THAT IS THE END OF MY REVIEW ON KITS WILDERNESS BY HANNAH

Summary: A review of Kit's Wilderness
Review: Kit's Wilderness was very good because it used a lot of descriptive words and explained everything well. The best bit was the way David Almondkept us in suspence. We knew something was wrong but didn't know what until it revelled itself. The story twists and turns and round every corner a clue is given to help us on our way to finding the "treasure." The story of Lak made things a little easier to understand because it gave us more information than we relised at the time. When I read this book I didn't want to put it down because it was so mysterious and exciting that I wanted to reach the end. When it ended I wanted it to carry it on until I had had enough. In my opinion it ended too soon.

Summary: this book is so boring!!!
Review: we dont think that this book was very good because it got boring from the very beginning. it was very un-realistic because that would never happen. we give this 1 star because it was so boring. he is a good writer but the book was rubbish.it was rubbish because it was so confusing and it didn't have a good plot because it kept on changing every chapter. we would give it 0 stars but it won't let us. we would never read one of his book again because kit's wilderness gave him a bad reputatio because it so boring.

Summary: Kit's Wilderness
Review: This story begin's in Stoneygate, a small mining town that thrived several years ago in the days of the old mines. Kit is a twelve-year-old boy that just moved to Stoneygate because his grandmother died. Kit's grandfather moves in with them. The main characters, Kit, Askew, Allie and the grandfather have important roles as Almond weaves the past, present, and future together. Kit's stories foreshadow the future and let the reader know that Askew's character can be redeemed.

All of the characters that were involved in the game of death, Allie, Askew, Kit, and Bobby, play important roles in the book. Allie keeps Kit on the side of light as otherwise he may have let Askew take him into the dark. Askew represents the darkness in the book. Bobby Carr carries out all of Askew's evilness and Allie tries to keep Kit's positive attitude. Kit's grandfather plays an important role in Kit's life. He prepares Kit, through his storytelling, for Kit's future journeys.

We think the turning point in the book occurs when Kit goes to the cave with Bobby Carr and meets Askew. It ties everything together and answers our main questions: Why did Almond put in the story of Lak? Is Askew really a bad person? Who represents light and dark? Who is Silky? We figured it out. Can you?

Summary: Dark Genius
Review: I loved this book it was a very dark and mysterious book. i was sucked in. i read the entire book in one night. this book is not for everyone and i have met many high schoolers who have not been able to understand but i feel that David Almond is a genius when it comes to writing anyone who has read this book should read his latest Heaven Eyes

Summary: A REVIEW FOR KIT'S WILDERNESS
Review: I think that Kit's Wilderness is a clever, well written novel, for children and adults of any age above 10. Almond links together the different plots very well. The book somehow connects good with evil and dark with light. The book takes thrilling turns and unexpected twists. It has you on the edge of your seat and you don't want to put it down - you want to find out what happens next. The book takes you through an excitng adventure that includes all aspects of Kit's life at Stoneygate. The main characters in the book are: Goodie-two-shoes Kit, strange John Askew, bossy Allie Keenan, and Kit's Grandpa who used to work in the mine. I think that the characters are very well thought out and they are described very well. My favourite part is where Kit goes into the mine with Askew. I like it because Almond builds up lots of tension.
