Rating: Summary: Great book!!! Review: I loved this book but I don't think that this Kings best novel but I listend to it three times and it got much better each time. I liked the way King kept making me guess about what was going to happining in the next book. This is a must read!!!!!
Rating: Summary: HEART TOUCHING!!! Review: I must say " the green mile " series was a nice change from Stephen Kings other books. It made me laugh and it made me cry, none of his other books have ever affected me like that!!! I'm really glad I bought the whole series at one time, if I would've bought them one at a time I would've been crazy by the time the last one got here!! I couldn't put them down, I read one after another!!!!My heart will always be with his HORROR stories though.....because I like the "things that go bump in the night". Thank you Stephen King for giving me a chance to see another side of your writing ability.I'll be waiting and looking forward to getting my next book in the mail.

Rating: Summary: The best King story I have listened to date Review: I travel as a rep thru the Rockies and have plenty of time to listen to novels on tape.In the past year I have listened to The Green Mile three times. The characters are alive with Frank Muellers reading and Kings story telling. From Percy Whitmore to "Boss Hedgecomb" and John Cofee's hands the novel is alive. The human strength and the excellent ending make for one fine listen. I have usually been disappointed w/ Kings endings but this one is exceptional.Just ask Mr. Jingles.
Rating: Summary: I am spellbound, what a great book & writer. Review: I wonder if there are more books like the Green Mile by Stephen King. First book I have ever listened to that was written by him. I thought he wrote about strange events. I was spellbound. I was transported into the story and couldn't wait until the next tape. What a great writer. Any suggestions on which one I should read next?
Rating: Summary: GROOVY! Review: I've just finished reading and all i can say is that these books are some of the best I've ever read. The character descriptions are truly great, and beats the $hit out of Dean R. Koontz. After I ws reading the book in about 20-30 miniutes i started to think they were more written like a biography than a novel, and what an interesting biography it is. -Per
Rating: Summary: Pretty Swell Review: In the Green Mile Serial Thriller I love how Stephen King takes so many little stories about love and friendships and adds a twist of evilness and darkness with in each of the characters. From how he builds up the plot not just for the main characters but for everyone of the characters in the novel from the talented Mr. Jingles to the most focused character John Coffey. King kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time while he was building up to the final part, is Coffey gonna live or die and I really loved that but didn't like the outcome. But because of the time period it was set in I can understand reasons for the ending King gave The Green Mile. The book was really great and to any Stephen King fan if I were you I would read it.

Rating: Summary: Great audio book set Review: My husband and I listened to these audio tapes while driving on vacation - what a treat! The narrator does a fantastic job with the different dialects. It seemed we could not get the next tape into the player fast enough. Also enjoyed Stephen King's comments at the end. This was an excellent series of books...thank you Stephen King!
Rating: Summary: A truly great story and wonderfully read Review: My husband received the first installment of the Green Mile as a gift. We drive alot of miles back and forth to work every day and listen to tapes to make the time pass more quickly. We were not familiar with Stephen Kings work, because we don't like "Horror." We were totally suprised and pleased that this was not what we thought of as horror. We were totally hooked by the first 15 minutes of the tape. Paul Edgecomb, John Coffee and the other characters on the mile are brought to life by King and the terrific reading of Frank Muller. If you want a tape that will make you want to sit in your car and listen even after you get home, this series is a must. I have not found another author and reader that keep you wanting MORE! MORE! MORE! like King and Muller. You will laugh, cry, and curse and be totally absorbed from from beginning to end.
