Summary: The Master in Six Parts
Review:

Being an avid Stephen King reader, I anxiously awaited the arrival of "The Green Mile". I am happy to say, I was not disappointed.

The six part thriller mixes the standard King horror, mystery, magic and real world conflict. The fourth book, "The Bad Death of Eduard Delacroix" will make the average person think seriously on the issue of capital punishment.

However, the most amazing aspect was the use of the "chap book" method of publication. The fact that we, the reader, had to wait for the next in the series to find out what happened next, was reminescent of the old time radio shows of yesteryear. A big thumbs up to my favorite author and to Signet Books to have the guts to try this type of marketing.

Review: as good a work as i have ever read by steven king. suspensful, memorable, attentin grabbing, and poignant. the characters are sobelievable, and full of life that it is as if they are someone that you know. the character paul edgecombe has the compassion of a saint, but is so humanistic that he is like the boy next door.

one of the best works by steven king that i have ever read. an i have read almost all of them

Review: At first, this book was not very good, but then i got to the second installment. I was amazed by the time I read the second book I could not put the book down. I read one installment each day( I got this book 2 years after the release, dont ask me why)I was so addicted. In the last installment, the story was so deep I was close to tears. Take it from his number 1 fan, this book is a must read!!!!! Peace out

Summary: The best book I have ever listened to.
Review: I am not a Stephen King constant reader like my husband, who is his number one fan, but after having listened to this book on tape, I may become one. I don't believe I could have stood the wait for each installment the way my husband did. Now I know why he waited so impatiently for each one. Stephen King and Frank Muller are magnificent. I would never have believed that a story about death row in 1932 could be so absorbing and rewarding. LOVED IT!

Summary: Spectacular!!! The best audio book I've ever heard!
Review: I can't think of all the good adjectives to describe this fabulous series. A real great story, read by the finest voice I've heard in audio books. A must-listen for any fan of Stephen King or mysteries.

Summary: An excellent achievement from the master of horror.
Review: I completely enjoyed this six part novel. The way Mr. King, invites you through a time hole back to a past memory of human nature. From the beginning my emotions were charged and tested as to weather I should continue down the road Mr. King laid before me. The content was gripping and the story very interesting. At times I found myself trying to predict the outcome only to find I was surprisingly wrong. This was an excellent change in Mr. Kings writing only proving he is still the master of the inner human struggle and external suffering

Summary: The best of Stephen King since "The Stand"!
Review: I love the installment idea! You simply couldn't wait until the next month to read more. This comes from a stay at home mother of 2 boys and a husband(hehe), that has NO time to read! Still, once starting the series-out of curiosity. Finally,I found a way of reading a novel my way. Plus, I think this way of writing forced and challenged King to once again write from his heart and soul---not his bank account. He was once again writing with a sense of passion, as in his earlier books(The Shining, The Stand,etc...). I had become disenamored with the books he has churned out a a fast rate the past few years. You can certainly tell a difference in his earlier works when compared to his more rescent works(disappointing). I could since a "selling of his soul to the devil" with his more rescent works. It appeared that the almighty dollar had become his reading audience. Once again he has enticed me into giving him another chance, thanks to his venture with "The Green Mile" series I have a renewed since of faith in Stephen King.
