Rating: Summary: Great Book, Annoying Audiotape Review: This is a great book, my 4YO son loves it. I would only warn you off the audiotape, as the author tells the story so slowly it's painful. If you are a Paul Galdone fan, I highly recommend that you try other books with audiotapes though. My son loves The Monster and the Tailer, Rumplestiltskin, and the Teeny Tiny Woman.
Rating: Summary: The Tailypo Review: We read this in kindergarden, and some of our friends are still having nightmares about it. We loved this book because it is sooo scary! Even in seventh grade SOME of us are still shrieking at the word TAILYPO. This IS a really good book, but beware of its impact on young people, especially those with, uh, overactive imaginations. The perfect book for reading around a campfire in the middle of the woods with lots of noises and glowing eyes all around...

Rating: Summary: I too read this when I was young. Review: When I was in first or second grade I remember going to the library every week with my class. This was the book I checked out just about every time. It's a very fun book to read and I loved the way my mom would read it to me. I'm surprised it's still in print, it's a fairly old book.
