Summary: What the hell?!
Review: Okay, so I hear on the grapevine that Ann Rice's series of vampire novels are pretty good, right? I've got a long car trip planned, so I figure I'll pick 'em up on tape to listen to on the way. And what do I hear? Something about some frickin' whale named "Baby Beloogie" or something! What the hell does this have to do with vampires?! Was the whale supposed to be a vampire or something?! And don't get me started on the bit with the monkey...

Summary: the best books I ever read!!!!
Review: Once I started reading them I couldn't put them down. The books gave me a new understanding of the world of vampires to say the least. Ane Rice wrote them beautifly! I have read them three times or more!

Summary: A book to be read
Review: One of the best books I ever read, taking you into a completly different world but in familiar cities which we all know. Rice gives us the vampire's point of view and not that of the victim, they are not evil it's in their nature to kill. I was really moved by the books and couldn't put them down once I had started, I wondered what could be left to write about them but I was wrong as Rice certainly hasn't run out of ideas. If you haven't read it, read it NOW!!!!

Summary: The Vampyre Chronicles are a great set of books to read!!
Review: Overall, the story was quite intricate in it's style and plotting but I also tend to the point that she made her masculine characters very feminine. Well, I guess it' hard writing from an female to male perspective. She plots the books out very neatly, and I'd definitely recommend you read them. It has some great climaxes! On another note though, I think Anne was trying to make the vampires fluid in motion, like a female, so I guess you could put it down to that; grace & agility. She made an excellent story line. It all fit together precisely the way it should have. Introducing characters early, and THEN finding out what the significence was. Definitely a great set of books!

Summary: Great stories! Keeps you up at night.
Review: Progressively difficult to finish. Devoured the first book in a day, never finished the third (I got bored). Very enchanting back-drops and great character development. Will cause nightmares in the sensitive reader.

Summary: Anne Rice's storyline never gets too off key
Review: She is so believable, you have the deepest desire to become a vampire and you are willing to do anything to do so. Even if you don't you'll at least have empathy or sympathy...reguardless, you'll get off on it. A MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A magnificent tale of love and hate.
