Summary: Another entertaining mish-mash of genres from Koontz.
Review: Fear Nothing is the first book in what looks to be a trilogy. Christpher Snow, the standard self-deprecating yet inhumanly resourceful hero of any and all Koontz stories, discovers a hideous conspiracy on the night of his father's death. Koontz drops lots of hints and quips as he unfolds a story not at all dissimilar to his novels Night Chills, Watchers, and Midnight (among others), but it is mostly tease and portent, the book raising more questions than it does answers, so be prepared to be left hanging. I was not overly impressed with the novel, but, as is usually the case, the characters are likable, the action and suspense levels quite high, and the mystery maintains interest. The only really sloppy part is that the story takes place over the course of a single night, something that, considering all the exposition Snow must take in and places he must visit, is just impossible to believe. Nonetheless its a brisk, fun read with just the right amount of nastiness to give the suspense a credible edge.

Review: This book was very interesting. Usually I don't like reading but this book made me want to keep on going. It was a little sad but always intriguing to find out what happens next. Dean Koontz words were always welling to pull you in when least expected. He is a great author. I never really read one of his books until now and I regretted what I was missing.

Summary: Fear What?
Review: I really enjoyed reading "Fear Nothing" it was a great book. I have heard that Dean Koontz was a good author, but I had never read any of his books until now. And I too think he is a good author and I will continue to read his books,(I never thought I would have a favorite author!). "Fear Nothing" was a very interesting book, it kept me in suspense and I always wanted to know what was going to happen next. The words he uses to describe whats happening makes you feel like you are actually there! I literally got chills while reading this book.

Review: This novel was confusing in the begining but once you get to reading it more and more you'll get what it's saying. Dean Koontz is the type of writer that keeps you on the edge of your seat, he doesn't come right out and say what he's talking about. He puts it into a suspence. It's about a man name Chris Snow, he cant't come into the sunlight because of a certain disease which you'll find out what that is in the book, Certain people are after him and so he's running to get away. But who is it that he's running from? is it someone he knows or not? Is Chris running out of time or has his time just begun.I think you should really consider reading this book.

Summary: What happened to the middle of this great story!
Review: Christopher Snow is a very cool character, but the book could have been shorter. The beginning of the book was great and then the middle? I was like, "What happened?". The middle was so long and nothing really happens. I am use to a Knootz book where something is always happening or leading up to something. After the beginning the only good part was when Snow meets up with the Sheriff. The monkeys? OK I thought that would be more interesting to. Oh well, his other books like, "Hideaway", and "The Bad Place" are much better reading.

Review: This book didn't have much point to it. I had to force myself to finish it. Although I love most of Dean Koontz books, this one just wasn't a good book. It had interesting parts but most were pointless. If you have never read Dean Konntz, I highly suggest you don't start with this one.

Summary: A very pleasant surprise
Review: I read this book while in the hospital recovering from a severe bout with pneumonia. I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled when my mother brought it in for me, as I'd read some Koontz in the past and did not enjoy it. However, I had quite a bit of free time on my hands and nothing else to do with it, so I gave it a try. It was (thankfully) unlike anything of his that I'd read before. The characters were very three-dimensional and it was easy to empathize with them. The plot was intriguing and artfully disclosed, as well as suspenseful and spine-tinglingly spooky. I had nightmares about monkeys for several days after reading it! I would recommend Fear Nothing highly, even to people who aren't fans of Koontz.

Summary: Awesome book from a non reader
Review: A freind recently gave me the book "Fear nothing" and told me that I had to read it and that it was awesome. I told her I dont have time to read books. It sat on the book shelf for about a month then one night I picked it up and started reading it. The beginning was a little slow but I eventually got to a point where I got sucked into it.. I found myself not wanting to put the book down the suspense was killer.. I would have to force myself to put the book down so I could go to sleep.. I was not a reader now I want to get the next book and start in.. Dean Koontz is a very good writer!

Summary: This book has great characters.
Review: I loved the characters in this book. I also liked "Seize the Night" which is the sequel to this novel but "Fear Nothing" is the better of the two books. There is suppose to be a (final?) sequel to this series but I haven't heard anything about it. If you haven't bought either of these two books you may want to wait until he publishes his conclusion or you will be waiting like the rest of us.
