Rating: Summary: Good Book Review: Dean knootz has done it again with another great book. But It does has its negative points. One Negative point is how the main character (Christopher Snow) tends to ramble too much he rambles so much that I end up skipping a lot of pages. When the suspense builds up Christopher Snow sometimes ruins the suspense by rambling on about something totally different from what is going on and this could last forever. But on the good side, this book had a really nice story. It was so good that I skipped some of my classes just to read what is going to happen to Chris and what is going on in Moonlight Bay. This book was very good but if you are a kind of reader who likes books that gets to the point and doesn't like rambling about stuff that doesn't even make sense with the book, you shouldn't read this book. But if you don't care about the rambling, This is a must buy!
Rating: Summary: Not Koontz's usual, but still exciting Review: Wow, this book is DKs first attempt at writing first person, and in my opinion he does it very well, this nook is what most readers expect when they read dean koontz and i beleive that that is why i didnt get great reviews, this book is much more science fiction than it is horror or suspense, it follows a character named chris snow around moonlight bay california. well written and just as exciting as any other, i recomend that any reader who enjoys koontz or science fiction, to give this book a chance, you wont be dissapointed.
Rating: Summary: FEAR NOTHING Review: WHILE THIS BOOK IS GOOD READING, IT IS MERELY THE FIRST PART OF WHAT OBVIOUSLY IS A LARGER BOOK THAT THE AUTHOR HAS HALVED IN ORDER TO SELL TWO BOOKS. THIS BOOK SIMPLY INTRODUCES THE READER TO THE CHARACTERS THAT EXIST IN THE SECOND BOOK,"SEIZE THE NIGHT". MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO BYPASS "FEAR NOTHING" AND READ THE MORE DIFINITIVE "SEIZE THE NIGHT", UNLESS YOU HAVE EXTRA MONEY TO WASTE. "SEIZE THE NIGHT" IS A MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE AND SCARY BOOK.
Rating: Summary: A shockingly scary book-gave me chills Review: One of my favorite authors, he captures the book and maks it feel as if your there. I was shaking as I turned and flipped through each page. The book shows you what things look like from the dark side. And what happens when an experiment goes extremely wrong.... The ending is wonderfull! I have never looked at monkeys the same way either... This book was far better than any of King's work that I've read! - Mindy, age 12
Rating: Summary: Fear Everything Review: This book made me love reading. I never thought I could be entertained with words. Toatally awsome. A MUST read for all suspence fans.

Rating: Summary: You Filthy Monkeys! Review: All I can say is beware the Monkey's!
Rating: Summary: A fun read Review: My first Koontz book. A relative was reading it when I got a black lab and named him Orson. I'd never heard of the book. She says she heard the _Twilight Zone_ OO-oo OO-oo music and made me promise to read _Fear Nothing._What a nice piece of entertainment. But I didn't know there was sequel when I was reading it, and I was annoyed that so many things were left unresolved or unexplored. I'm happy to know I have two sequels to look forward to. Chris Snow and his dog have a 50-50 relationship any dog would be happy to be part of. I thought the characters of Bobby (whose surfer lingo got annoying) and Sasha (a bit too perfect to be believed as a real woman) were underdeveloped, but I didn't mind, since they weren't major players. The scene where Orson the dog and Mungojerrie the cat are mocking their stereotypes is one that keeps popping into my head. I would love to have seen more exploration on this theme. I keep looking at my own dog, half expecting a humanlike response to my everyday questions such as 'are you hungry?' If my own dog ever nods his head matter-of-factly, I'll laud Koontz as a soothsayer rather than a novelist. (And wouldn't that be cool?) Koontz has a lot of good ideas going on here. I hope he can take them further in _Seize the Night_ and the third in the trilogy.
Rating: Summary: Another GREAT Koontz Novel Review: Fear Nothing is my third Koontz novel. I read all these 3 in the last week. Koontz just passed King out as my favorite author. I read Seize the Night first, then Intensity, then Fear Nothing. I started Fear Nothing late Saturday evening. Today, Monday, I completed it in one 100 page read-fest. I liked it even better than Seize the Night. Reading the sequel (Seize the Night) first made me think that I wouldn't be able to enjoy Fear Nothing. I was totally wrong. It captivated me from the very start. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. Moonlight Bay is as real to me as the town I live in. I feel as if I know the characters. I expect that to pass the time between now and the third in the series, I will read many more Koontz novels. And I wouldn't be surprised if I revisit Moonlight Bay through Fear Nothing and Seize the Night between now and then.
