Review: Have been a Koontz reader for years, found this one to be slower, hard to follow at times, not the usual can't put it down quality. A very slow starter. If you are an avid Koontz fan, read it but otherwise easily skipped.

Summary: Monkey Business
Review: Koontz seems to be exploring a new literary type here: a novella enveloping several short stories. Unfortunately, the straight plotline of titles such as Sole Survivor is much more gripping. The monkey scene is fun to read but then there are the coyotes and the crows et. al. that ultimately make the reading a bit tedious. I was disappointed that light-sensitive Snow was never imperiled by his disease.

Review: Seize the Night is a worthy follow up to Fear Nothing. It keeps your attention all the way from the first cassette to the last. I found myself looking forward to my long commute to the office just to hear the next few chapters.

Review: I have never read a Koontz book before, but I must say when I read "Seize the Night", I knew that I would become an avid reader of his works. This book carried me into Chris Snow's world, and I felt as if I experienced what he did, and not many books do that to me. Definitely buy the book!

Review: As a long time Koontz reader, I was supremely disappointed in this latest effort, or lark. I closed it after 130pgs. Do not buy this book! Re-read WATCHERS: same idea, excellent execution without the surfer lingo and total lack of constructive dialog.

Summary: A changed fan
Review: I received Seize the Night for Christmas, and at first, I wasn't very thrilled. I had read Intensity, and I didn't enjoy it very much. I decided that I would give it a chance, since it was a gift, and I loved it. The surfer lingo adds a great touch to the story and the relationship between Bobby and Christopher, and the fact that Sasha loves Christopher for what he is in spite of his probably very early death is very inspiring. I liked this book so much that I had to buy the first one, Fear Nothing. I would recommend this book to friends of mine who like the mystery/real life genres!

Review: This was my first Koontz book, and I've found a new friend! The story takes place over the course of about 36 hours, but what a "day" The way he is able to pull out all the emotions that this story inspired in me is phenomonal. The only frustration is going to be wating for a sequel!

Review: I loved the book great story but, a hard to fallow story line. I think the suffer lingo is cool but needs more. I would like to comment that it is a grate use of branch out story lines but, i fail to see the signifacance of certain avents.

Summary: Here Go Again
Review: I have been reading Koontz for a long time, and would consider him to be one of my favorites. But when did he become so weird? I began noticing it some years ago with his book Intesity; and now it seems like each book gets weirder and weirder. He goes into painstakingly detailed descriptions of every little aspect of the surroundings. Some may like this, however his books are becoming more and more difficult for me to read. As for this book, buy it if you are a true fan. And if you do, you absolutely must read the first book. Oh, and do not expect a plausible plot, just accept the plot and characters for their entertainment value. If you get bored reading during one of his sidetracks describing the color of the sky, just skip ahead 20 or 30 pages, you probably will not have missed much. The sad thing is I just bought his newest book, and will buy the third in this trilogy. Even though he is getting way too wordy, he can still scare the lights on at my house!
