Review: Having experience in applique, I would not recommend this book for beginners. The "step-by-steps" seem to presume the reader already has working knowledge of the entire procedure. Be advised that the designs are not patterns and only usable after extensive copying, enlarging and breaking down into applique components.

Review: This book goes beyond traditional applique. The projects are shown in great full color photos. Lots and lots of project ideas. The how-to was quite helpful--I really liked the section on making ribbon flowers! Really neat book!
