Laverack was one one of the seminal creators of today's Setter in Britain and North America. His discussion of the fine points of the breed and of Setter strains which existed during and prior to the 19th century make for fascinating reading. This book also features several fine additional articles by editor Lynn Hamilton. Highly recommended.
