Summary: Disappointed
Review: The author used to have me waiting eagerly for her books but not anymore. I remember books I have read and the major details and I expect the author to be consistant. She really ruined it for me when she referred back to her crime solving in Hounded to Death and called the dogs Beagles! For heavens sake they were Bassets. That is a major mistake. I had a Basset and I was insulted that she could not keep her breeds straight. She needs to keep her facts straight. So she is in the doghouse and I will spend my dog biscuits on authors who remember their characters at least as well as the readers.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Need more Jake
Review: This book is as good as all the others in the series but had to give it one less star because there is not enough about Jake the dog hero. In the books before there was more about Jake and his family which made it more interesting for animal lovers. So Author keep on writing this series and I will keep on reading but please keep the animal adventures also. I would like to know the latest on Jake's rather large son. It is ok to keep adding animals to your list of characters for new stories but they were too much in the background this time. Keep up the humor with son of Jake.
