Review: This is a classic chartbook for needleworkers wanting individual seashell patterns to work singly or to incorporate into their own designs. The patterns are for both large and small seashells (though mostly small), and there are suggestions for borders and repeat patterns. The book contains basic cross stitch and needlepoint instructions for the beginner, and a floss conversion chart. The booklet is well worth its price--its only drawback is that only the four seashells on the covers are displayed in color, a problem if you want to combine patterns or have problems visualizing a completed design from a black-and-white chart.
