Review: This handy guide is well organized, factual and contains a lot of pertinent information specific to longhaired cats. All this for an affordable price! The basics in cat care, health, immunization, nutrition and grooming are contained in this book, along with some cute coloured photographs. Not that longhaired cats differ greatly from shorthaired cats in general cat care; however, certainly the grooming requirements are more laborous and you do need the right tools of the trade to work with. One item that I have found to be of tremendous value that was not mentioned here was a "detangling comb," a wide-spaced steel comb to remove mats, which can be purchased at any pet supply. This is a great little book at a great little price.
