The characters are either family members or someone you know. It's as if Randal Patrick was raised in your neighborhood and he knows everyone you do and how they talk. You will recognize everyone in this book. As you are reading you will catch yourself smiling and wondering how Randal Patrick heard that conversation from your past. The book is most entertaining. Review: I could not put this book down. I feel like I know the characters, and want to know what happens next in their lives. Some of their interactions made me laugh out loud.

Review: I had my doubts about this book at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. Coming from a small rual town in Arkansas, some of the characters actions are things I've witnessed from local residents. I think anyone would enjoy this book regardless of your background.

Characters are great -- I like a book where I don't necessarily like the characters -- they're just real. This is a "must read" just for the exposure to the Trailer Trash side of life.
