Review: This book is good for the setup part of the Aquarium hobby, but is severely lacking in fish identifications. Meaning, it is one of the least used fish books I own. Most of the other information is good.

Review: This easy to read, beautifully illistrated book is packed with important information on the care of tropical fish. It litterly contains everything you need to know about the care of tropical fish. I have read many different books on this subject, and in my opinion, The Complete Guide to Tropical Aquarium Fish Care, is the best one on the market to date. Each important detail of the tropical fish hobby is presented in a simple, clear manner. Finally, the ups and downs of water quality in aquariums (pH and water softness) are explained in a way that nonchemists can understand. If you are new to the world of keeping tropical fish, buy this book. If you are an expert, buy it anyway-you won't regret it.
