Review: The New Pomeranian has an extensive chapter on the genetics of the Pomeranian breed. More importantly, it has examples of color genetics that insure that breeders will be able to "plan" their litters based on the colors they wish to do selective breeding for. I have not found a better book on dog color breeding or Pomeranians in general. The conformation drawings are sure to help novice and experience breeder alike rate their puppies for the show ring.

Summary: history,care and breeding of Pomeranian dogs
Review: This well written book has detailed information on breeding and genetics, and wonderful line drawings of conformation and grooming. There are no color photographs, but the quality of the text and line drawings more than makes up for that.
