Review: One of the best books I've seen on antique silverplate. Lots of information on history, techniques, and how to recognize old Sheffield pieces. Plenty of beautiful photos. A great book for anyone interested in learning about old silver. Prices are given in British sterling, which makes it harder for the US reader to relate. Would be nice for a US version to be published with prices reflecting American market values.
