Review: This was a interesting book that gave some information but missed the mark by trying to much with to little.It is a good reveiw of some common species and touches on some which are never seen or can not be found.All in all it was of very little use.Plus alot of the information was in question or was contrary to other publications.

Review: when starting out in aquaria, interests widen and curiosity can get one in trouble. impulse buying is normal and questions arise with every passing day. this book is a quick reference and easily affordable (5 stars) for that first time catfish purchase. everyone graduates to the larger and more in depth books but this is a great starter reference!
