Summary: Good coverage of residential construction costs.
Review: Good coverage of labor and material costs for residential construction plus about 200 pages of costs for light commercial work. Intended primarily for the professional estimator, not do-it-yourself builders. Unlike other building cost references, descriptions are complete -- explains what's included and excluded in each estimate. CD in the back includes all costs in this 450-page book plus a good, professional-quality estimating program(!).

Summary: This book is very helpful.
Review: I recently bought this book to help me write up estamates, it has proved very helpful, especially the program that comes with it. I would recomend this book to any one who is in the construction bussiness, I plan on buying 2 more of the books by this author.
