Summary: Helpful but overly repetitive in content
Review: Book contents include Black Americana and Natives, Cat Characters, Niagara Falls and Mermaids. I enjoy most Salt and Pepper Shaker pictorial price guides, however, I was disappointed in the overall content of this book. In many instances they illustrate the identical set of salt and pepper shakers (i.e. style/size/age) in a variety of colors. The space would have been better utilized showing a larger variety of sets and when applicable explaining that identical sets in different colors retain identical values. The photographs are very helpful, however, some of the Black Americana pictures tend to be a bit dark and lose detail. Prices listed are helpful when identifying the value of your collection, or looking for that great bargain.
