Rating: Summary: Neat Book Review: I bought both books and really like them. The ideas are large and easy to see with a lot of variety. My scrapbooking friends like the books too. It's an IDEA book, not just another magazine full of ads.
Rating: Summary: Nice Clean Ideas Review: I like this book, just like the first one. The ideas are clean and not cluttered like alot of idea pages I've seen. I go for more of the simple elegant look instead of the cluttered, jumbled messy look.
Rating: Summary: Not for the novice or experienced scrapbooker Review: It is a refreshing idea to publish a book highlighting fellow scrapbookers creations - refreshing to see what others like me are coming up with. However, in a practical sense, I would never recommend "200 More Great Scrapbook Layout Ideas" for any scrapbooker, novice or experienced. While there are a handful of creative ideas in this spiral-bound book, most of them range from mundane to very poor in a few cases. As a novice, you may be able to generate some creative juices with this book, unfortunately you'll need to have a working knowledge of scrapbooking as there are no instructions, tips, pointers, how-to's in this book. Each entry highlights materials used to make the project, but no instructions. It is strictly a book of ideas. If you're an experienced scrapbooker, you'll likely be disappointed in the simplicity in most of the ideas. It is nice to see what other's are doing with scrapbooks, but there are better mediums to do so - clubs, magazines, etc. If you're an experience scrapbooker looking for ideas, you'll find this book to simplistic and if you're a novice, just getting started, you'll find it uninformative.

Rating: Summary: Neat Book Review: This is a good book if you are just starting to scrap or if you want basic, very simple ideas. The majority of the book seemed to be geared towards layouts that can be done in 30 minutes or less. There were a few layouts that seemed geared towards the more experienced scrapper, but in general I found the book to be a disappointment. I've been scrapbooking for 4 years and there wasn't much that I saw in this book that I haven't already seen before in either a Creative Memories idea book or one of scrapbook magazines. If you are a beginner than this book might help, otherwise I would say that you can find more interesting and challanging layouts in other publications.
Rating: Summary: Even Better Than The Original... Review: This is the most helpful scrapbooking book that I have seen. Like it's predecessor, 200 Great Scrapbook Layout Ideas, it is filled with a lot of great layouts that anyone can use (either directly copying the layout or gathering ideas for your own creations). Where the first book lacked, however, this book excelled - the pictures are larger and contain the "ingredients" for making the pages (what paper, punches, die-cuts, etc. were used to create the layouts). The book leaves enough room on the pages for you to add your own ideas in the margins.
