Summary: closing the sale with this book
Review: As a photographer, I am sometimes the first thing on a brides mind when planning a wedding. Usually the bride knows that she has to have a photographer, cake, dress, church, groom, and a reception hall. Unfortunately, putting all of the pieces together poses a challenge to most. When I sign a client to a wedding contract, the best part is being able to provide a sense of calm by giving them a copy of this book. They really appreciate it as a "bonus" to signing with me and have expressed a multitude of compliments to its simple stress free approach to wedding planning. I definately recommend it as a deal closer!

Summary: Decent for a certain audience
Review: I am planning my wedding and find some of the tips and readings useful. The author mentions that she can not give practical advice regarding a timeline for wedding planning because it is a very personal thing, yet I find myself planning my wedding according to the schedule of the site and the photographer! It is truly the most impersonal part of the wedding planning. The tips are useful for those who are on a budget and not worried about etiquette (tupperware parties for a shower? A potluck for the reception?) I also found a lot of grammatical errors which distracted me from the content of the book.

Summary: I Give My Couples a Free Copy When They Book with Me
Review: I like to put my couples in control of the biggest day of their lives. Why not let them choose the words? When my clients book with me I give them the book. It makes life simpler for me. They pick the parts to include and leave out and I show up, do as they ask and pronounce them Husband and Wife. My only problem is keeping myself in stock.

Review: I really enjoyed the conversational style of this book. I have read many a book for the wedding planning process and none of them gave many details to help create the ceremony. Luckily, this books exists or else I would feel totally lost!! This book was very easy to understand and much fun to read. I feel like I can rest a little easier knowing that this book will be right by my side. Great book!!!!!!!

Review: Some good readings but a little too simple for my tastes. Good suggestions for a casual affair. Maybe with better writing and editing and some photographs, it would have more appeal.I suggest purchasing more professional publications on wedding planning.

Summary: A stressed out "bride to be's" alternative to valium!
Review: Thank god for this book! Planning for my wedding topped my lifetime list of most stressful events until my (recently married) friend bought this book for me. Not being the most organized person definitely deepened my prenuptial anxiety, but thanks to this book, I am relaxed and excited about the big event. Why is it so good? The book systematically lays out the important (and easily forgotten) details necessary for a memorable and smooth going wedding. I really like the worksheets that the author included (and stressed using as an integral part of the planning process). I know what I do and don't want for my wedding and am planning accordingly. While it's not for another three months, I am relaxed and confident that mine is going to be a wedding to remember! My friend recently got engaged and I plan to give this book to her as an engagement gift - we "brides to be" need all the help we can get!
