Breeding and Keeping Snakes

Summary: Great beginner's book. Gorgeous photography.
Review: As a newbie snake owner, I'm probably not in as good a position as more experienced owners to critique this book. That said, this book answered all the questions I could have had - questions I probably would have had to call the petshop about. I loved the full-color glossy photography as well. I didn't know all that much about snakes, but we got one for the kids. I used many of the diagrams and pictures to teach the boys about their pet.

Review: This book is full of really nice photography, but trys to include too many species and therefore doesn't give any complete accounts of any particular species. As we all know, all snakes are different and we cannot be too general in our husbandry. This book was not for anyone seriously interested in breeding.
