Review: Like the previous reader said, this is like a dictionary. It does help me when I am not sure how to do a certain type of stitch. However, some intructions are not much clearer than the ones that come with the patterns.

This book is great for filling in the instructions that come with patterns. You may need a second source for other things though.

I have gone back to it over and over again the past few years to see how they explain something I'm not clear on. It may not please very experienced sewers, but as the title says,"Step-by-Step Guide to Sewing Techniques", not Couture techniques.
