Review: I have been cross-stitching for years. Although this book contains mostly simple designs (full and half cross-stitch and backstiching only), it is quite handy for making quick gifts. I've used the patterns to make shower gifts of cross-stitched placemats and napkins, Christmas ornaments, and sachets. I've also used it to design spot motif samplers. Finally, I used it to teach cross-stitch to beginners.
