Review: "Bended Bias Applique" takes bias tape one step further than what is usually seen. It begins with several methods of making and applying your own bias tape. Color and design possibilites really expand when you are able to use whatever material fires your imagination. Next are tips for setting up your applique design and also quilting ideas. The big attraction of this book for me, however, is the wonderful assortment of flower patterns. There is a nod to Celtic-style designs and others, but there are over 20 flower designs, in addition to some butterfiles and hummingbirds. All are gorgeous and can be used with the bias technique, or as regular applique, whatever your preferred technique. This is a colorful book, sure to spark your imagination!
