It covers beadweaving (off- and on-loom), wire work, soldering, tambour stitching, knitting and crocheting with beads, and a lot of use-it-right-now information on bead sizes, threads, cleaning, stone hardness, metals, and glues.

The shortcoming of the book is that it may be too broad in scope and not deep enough in detail. But that can be an advantage: if you are struggling with a technique, you can learn enough from this book to know what to do next, whether learn a different tecnique, go to a specialist book, or take a class.
