Rating: Summary: Looks like a good book, beyond me, though Review: This book contains detailed plans for making twenty-six different household items. These are complex projects that require more tools and woodworking ability than the casual woodworker is likely to have. That said, the plans seem complete, and the items displayed look quite handsome. I am giving this book three stars, as the projects are beyond my ability, but I can easily imagine someone else giving it five stars. In case you are interested in this book, it contains the following projects. SHELVES, STANDS, AND FRAMES: bull-topped hallway shelf, filigree plant stand, collector's showcase, pedestal display stand, pint-size picture frame, stacked-molding picture frame, and tabletop easel. OCCASIONAL TABLES: contemporary coffee table, traditional-style hall table, waterfall end table, burl-topped coffee table, plastic-laminate parsons table, and kid-size picnic table. ACCESSORIES: walnut jewelry case, two easy-to-make clocks, turned teak timepiece, wenge wall clock, torchere floor lamp, and Chippendale wall mirror. RACKS: oak magazine rack, freestanding wine rack, fishing rod rack, rabbit clothes rack, oak quilt rack, and bentwood coat tree.
