Beautifully illustrated pages combine quotes about life with tips on making your quilts both your own and more beautiful. Using one quilt that combines pieced and applique the authors encourage you to use the quilt as a journal or to keep a journal as you make your quilt. If you don't want to tackle the entire quilt there are several neat projects including a book to carry unfinished blocks, a samll quilt with children, and a sewing case. My neighbor(who doesn't even own a needle) enjoyed just reading the book!
