Review: The book contains historical information about each of our 50 States that is just enough for the attention span of children. The fun is collecting the quarters that are minted for each state (the book tells you when each state's will be minted) to put into the outside cover's plastic coin slots. This is a great birthday gift - - you can put a few quarters in the slots to get the kids started on their collection (the last quarters won't be minted until 2008.) This book was a better value than some others that I found; some of the more expensive books or collecting sets had too much extra stuff or too much info to hold a child's attention. I was looking for something specifically for the State Quarters without getting into coin collecting in general, and this fit the bill.
