Review: A BEST BUY! This book is fabulous and much better than the other price/value guides available on the market. The editor of the Antique Trader went to the experts and it shows. FANTASTIC indepth book that is easy to carry while shopping. Love the sections on Limoges and Haviland porcelain. Wonderful black and white photos that are well done and represent each section. Wonderful value guide along with a reference section of the experts who have contributed to this fine guide. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Review: I found Limoges Antiques Shop in Andover, MA and purchased the 2004 Antique Trader's Guide and what a bargain! Highly recommend this book. If you are interested in Limoges recommend you visit wwwcollectinglimogescom and purchase Ms DuBay's trilogy on collecting Limgoes: Lving With Limoges, Antique Limoges at Home and Collecting Hand Painted Limoges Porcelain, Boxes to Vases.

Review: I purchased this from Amazon based on the reviews listed here and was sadly disappointed. I had expected sort of a systematic catalog of porcelain and pottery pieces. This listed a number of items, but with no real depth at all. It is hit or miss. The chances that you can evaluate any individual item you may be interested in is very small. I returned mine to Amazon.

Review: The Antique Trader is the best overall porcelain VALUE GUIDE on the market today! The author collaborated with the experts in the field and come up with a book that is invaluable to the collector. Debby DuBay's section on antique Limoges porcelain is wonderful! Nora Travis did an excellent job on Haviland and Dorothy Kamm did a great job with painted pieces. Much better than Kovel's for the money. I highly recommend the Antique Trader's 4th ed with updated 2004 values.
