Rating: Summary: Not a How-To Book, But a Feast for the Eyes Review: As the description indicates, this is a showcase book, full of color pictures of the quilts that were part of the Dairy Barn Southeastern Ohio Cultural Arts Center exhibition in 2001. Each page has a large color photo of a quilt, with a brief paragraph on where the artist found the inspiration to create it and the materials used. Do not buy this book if you are looking for how-to instructions on making a quilt. Do buy this book if you are the type who loves to pour over pictures and be inspired by the creativity of others. This is over 100 pages of truely lush eye candy! Also, if you like this sort of thing, be sure to look for the earlier Dairy Barn Quilt National books (some of which may be ordered directly from them if Amazon doesn't have them), and also check out the Fiberarts series of books. You will have to have them all.
