Beyond Fetch: Fun, Interactive Activities for You and Your Dog

Review: It is hard to believe this book was written by an adult professional. Some of the activities suggested involve encouraging the dog to behave in undesirable ways, such as barking excessively, running wildly through the house, or attacking your shoes. Others, such as "walking lessons" where you grab the dog by it's legs and force him to walk, seem to border on abusive. I was looking for more activities to do with my Lab, and didn't find one.

Summary: Lots of fun activities
Review: This book has all sorts of fun ideas and my dogs love to try the new games in it. It also has lots of resources if you want to find out more. I have an old dog and a young dog and it has something for both of them. (The reveiwer who complained about some of the actvities for her dog must of not read the introduction where it said that not every activity was suggested for every dog...) This book has made my puppy easier to live with because he is never bored. And it helps keep my old dog entertained even though she can't do much exercise.
