Summary: Excellent book!
Review: Barbara Hilliker's depth of knowledge on the subject and all the research she has done, as well as compiling the knowledge from so many others, is very impressive. Her history background really comes out in this effort. Although just a book showing the dolls and their outfits would have been great, learning about the history behind Bleuette's times makes the experience so much more rounded. I feel like I learned so much about the doll in one day.
The format of the book is wonderful as well; beautiful pictures, wonderful graphics. The copies of original "Le Semaine de Suzette" jump right off the page at you, as if you were holding the original article.

Review: Mrs. Hilliker's book is chock full of the most gorgeous photos of Bleuette in her many lucious ensembles. A must for collectors of dolls in genenral and Beleuettes in particular. Information is accurate and entertaining. Patterns enclosed are easy to follow and just beg to be realised.
