Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful!
Review: The best puppy raising book I've seen. Has a little bit(or a lot) of everything puppy related from selecting your puppy to nifty tricks and games; this book is a definate #1 resource as to dogs & puppies.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book stopped my puppy from peeing on the carpet!
Review: This book is the best "How To" book I've ever read. I'm not one for instructional manuals, but when my puppy came home and decided the carpet was the best place to relieve himself time after time, I was desperate. This book taught me not only how to potty train my pup, but also how to play with him in the best way to keep him from biting and snapping later in life. The author is a dog trainer and knows what she's talking about. All of the info was easy to understand and easy to put into use in every day life. A pretend schedule is included for various situations such as introducing your puppy to other people. The book also has amusing antidotes about either the author's pets or other people's pets she has run across. The author explains what you should do as far as training and play goes and why you should do it. She has some consequenses included. This is a wonderful book for a first time puppy-lover. It is a must have! Keep it next to the dog food and newspapers!
