Review: A very nice book, many pictures but also much to read. A little about everything, so you can read the hole book without getting bored. Many books about dogs can be filled with details, but not this one. It contains history, breeding, from puppie to grown, feeding, diseases, training etc. I really recomend this book.

Review: I loved this book on Irish Wolfhounds, it's very complete and easy to read. Gorgeous pictures and a wealth of information on the breed. Indispensible to the Wolfie lover/owner, someone considering getting a Irish Wolfhound or dog lovers in general. High recommended!

Review: This book is great if you are total centered around dog show conformation and early US New England history of the Breed. If you are into Lure Coursing and Obedience, you will not like this book.

Summary: Wonderful big book - Why is it out of print?
Review: This is an all round, complete, wonderful book on the Irish Wolfhound written by a man who is an acknowledged authority on the breed. He wrote the information for judges to use when judging the breed. How can this book be out of print? What is wrong with HOwell Book House, don't they know when they have a good book that will last forever? It is like putting the Bible out of print.
