Following a good general introduction to materials, planning, preparation, and very basic techniques, the author divides her 27 projects into a room-by-room approach. For example, try brightening a kitchen with a scrolling fruit and flower frieze, or dress up a tiny powder room with the luxurious look of a faux fabric-draped wall.
