Review: I loved this book. A lot of the books about altered books look alike to me, but Terry Taylor's book is full of eclectic inspiration. One of the best parts are all the examples by different artists. It's nice to see a book without page after page of the same stuff. In particular, check out the work by Dorit Elisha on pages 35 and 79. This book is definitely a must-have if you are interested in altered books.

Summary: A long awaited treasure
Review: Like my friend, Tracy Roos, I had been counting the days until this book came out and when it did, wow! Many of us working in the mixed media genre of art had heard the advanced buzz on this book and the wait was excruciating, to say the least. This exciting book is so inspiring, educational and just plain gorgeous, it's hard to avoid using cliches to describe it. Aside from being filled with the most awesome eye candy, it is so thought-provoking that I will be carrying it around with me forever. It was definitely worth the wait.
