Review: Impressive photos and very comprehensive whelping instructions. This book is exactly what it says it is - a guide to whelping and rearing. Lots of thorough explanations on the process of whelping (very helpful to a beginner) with language that is clear and on point. Covers all sorts of contingencies with sensible information. My favorite book in a library of over a dozen standards. Highly recommend!
