Review: Remiscent of Andreas Versalius, however not as complete at only 62 pages. Pietro is obviously a lesser known Italian artist from the 1600's, however his work is marvelous in itself. Showing the anatomy dissected in pose the muscles, organs and nervous system of the human body. No text accompanies these drawings besides and introductin and plate names. For the price it is well worth it for the student of anatomy and art, however if you have yet to get Leonardo's work on the human body or Andreas Versalius, then get those first.
