Summary: A wonderful book for kitty lovers of all ages...
Review: I purchased this book for my toddler, Thomas, who has a great love for kitties. I sat down and started reading and looking at all the wonderful pictures and really fell in love with this book. Karen Anderson has included all sorts of fascinating info about cats and what makes them tick. This would make a great gift for someone acquiring their first kitty or someone who has been a friend of kitties for life.

Summary: A book to delight, enthuse, teach and incite all cat owners!
Review: I wrote this book for all of the domestic felines in this world who long to be understood and treated with respect. (Okay, I wrote it for the people WITH the cats, but you know what I mean.) While many, many cats ARE well-nurtured and looked after with great care and attention, I observed that lots of cat owners needed a gentle, firm, humorous and frank talking-to about how to relate more effectively and satisfyingly with the cats in their lives. Great cat books abound, but I couldn't find one that simply, clearly and emphatically addressed the issues I felt passionate about - so I wrote one myself. The result is this book, Cats Have No Masters . . . Just Friends, which I am very proud of and pleased to be able to place into the hands of cat owners everywhere - whether experienced, novice or any level of cat savvy in-between! I truly, truly believe that you will come away from reading my book with new ideas, new hope, new enthusiasm and new appreciation for the cat(s) in YOUR life. You and your cat will be enriched by these pages . . . I guarantee that.

Review: My beloved cat, Bentley, died too young (10 years) of kidney disease. However, a year before he was the sickest, I spent two days reading this book - like many who love to read...curled up on the couch, fresh coffee in hand, afghan over my lap. Bentley close by. Idyllic. It's a wonderful memory. Let me tell you, the text in this book grabbed me from the beginning. I thought I knew my cat. After finishing the book, I laid it down, looked at Bentley and simply said, "Wow." I understood my precious pet in a whole new way. From his point of view. I am so glad I took the time to read every page while he was still living. It just added new dimension to an already very special part of my life that can't be replaced.

One purrecious cat basking in the sun after another, another at play, another at hunt...it would make a great wonderful gift with beautiful cat pictures in majestic scenic backgrounds and great useful verses on how to treat a cat and how a cat treats you." ..take it from me, my friend's cat passed away and so i gifted her with the book and she felt 1000 TIMES BETTER! she's thinking of now getting another cat!

Summary: Excellent guidelines for raising a cats and beautiful photos
Review: While the book at first glance is a lovely collection of cat photographs in a coffee-table style format, reading the text reveals excellent guidelines for establishing a loving relationship with a cat and the benefits that offers to both cats and the people who become their friends. For me, it reinforced many of the positive results I've experienced with my cats over the years, and does so in ways I find rarely discussed in cat books. I would recommend this book to new cat owners as well as those of us who are long-established "cat people."
