Summary: Laugh, Cry, & Love this Book!
Review: I was deeply moved by the stories in this wonderful and uplifting book. The title says it all! This book allowed me to see the deeper elements to my spiritual connection with the animals (pets) in my home and the animals all around when I go on my walks. This book is a special addition to my bookshelf. I'm also going to buy this as a gift for my friends who also love their pets.

Summary: Wonderful Stories!
Review: If you want to take time and reflect on your love bond withanimals then this book is for you. I love the animal stories so muchthat I can only hope Allen and Linda Anderson will write many more books about our spiritual bond with animals... It was nice to read that the authors give all of their income from the book to the Angel Animals Educational Foundation. They are serious about their goals of changing attitudes toward animals via sharing their stories. It makes me want to help in some small way. Wonderful book and great web site!

Summary: Sweet
Review: Lots of wonderful stories, but it's hard to read too many at one sitting. I wrote one of them so I have a personal investment in this book, and I do like it a lot. But although I chomp at the bit when scientists cry, "Anthropomorphism", I found myself crying the same thing more than once in the reading.

Summary: A MUST READ for the entire family
Review: Man is dog's best friend -- This book is a must for all lovers of animals and for those who enjoy good stories with a message for today. We need to focus on loving unconditionally, whether a family member, or a family pet, as well as to develop compassion, courage and patience.

Also recommended: Animal Liberation by Peter Singer, 1995

Summary: A book guaranteed to make you laugh and cry and love.
Review: OK, I'm a contributer to the book. So you might think I'd be biased. But this is one of the best feel-good experiences you will ever enjoy. Trust me, and read about the trust and communication we can all share with the little angels that share our lives. You will not regret the time spent and will return time and time again.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: Thank you for all that you're doing to help animals. The stories you're sharing through your book, toys, and non-profit foundation (angelanimals.org) will actually help to change attitudes toward all animals. This book is amazing and I've already given three copies to friends as presents. Thank you!

Summary: Learning about life from animals
Review: The connection between animals and people is quite profound. The lessons about fidelity, love, caring and relationships are all in this book. My husband and I took time each day to read one of the stories out loud. I can think of my experiences with various animals I have had and realize the spiritual connection.

Summary: Angel Animals -- Exploring the Human/Animal Spiritual Bond
Review: The story "Throwaway Kids and Throwaway Animals Found Each Other" alone is well worth the cost of this amazing collection of stories. Linda Lansdell who shared her story helping inner city troubled teens grow into responsible and loving adults is a very good writer. And it all happened because of the animals that the inner city teens helped care for. All the stories in Angel Animals are good but this one story hits home on what animals can do to help change human lives for the better.

Summary: A BOOK WITH A SPIRITUAL MESSAGE
Review: This is not just another sentimental animal book, but a beautiful anthology of stories that point to the author's philosophical belief that animals truly can be our spiritual guides. An angel is a messenger, not just a 'cutie'. Allegorically, man ate from the tree of knowledge and lost his innocence. The fruit of the tree of knowledge gave mankind a mental superiority over the animals and all other life forms on planet Earth, but it also gave man his greatest challenge - how to overcome the separation that this superior knowledge gives him from his divine innocence. The more we know, potentially the more we are separated from our divinity as the mental takes over. In these delightful and true stories, we are reminded that animals can bring us back to our divinity and be among our spiritual guides. They can play a major part in healing the separation from the divine that we have brought about on planet Earth. Their love is pure love. It is not mental love, but instinctive, divine love. We, too, deep down are possessed of the same divine love, and when we strip away our pretenses we can find the same innocence that is in the original creation. With the aid of animals as our spiritual guides we can live again in the Garden of Eden and yet still be possessed with the advantages of the mind. Angel Animals is a far deeper book than it may seem and is appropriate for our times.
