Summary: Four Paws Up!
Review: A great read with valuable insights into our relationships with all life. I love the "food for thought" at the end of each story - terrific reminders of how a small kindness or lesson coming from any source, can transform our lives. As an animal owner it has opened the door for me to look deeper at the relationships I share with all my own animal family and other animals we encounter. I've especially enjoyed reading the stories to my nieces and nephews and sharing with them how we can learn about love from all of life.

Summary: CHARMING and INSPIRATIONAL
Review: Charming true stories. Quite a concept. Humans learning more about helping themselves cope with life, through their contact with animals. My two favorite stories are Mixa, a dog who taught her mistress about trust, unconditional love and respect; and two tiny birds providing examples of compassion and committment. After reading the book, I was inspired to step outside my house and be more alert as I move among natures creatures. The birds, the bees, the chameleons, the turtles, may be my special Angel Animal friends waiting in place to help me. Highly recommended. Read it, you won't ever again be oblivious to an animal. I found this book to be an ideal gift for my family and friends.

Summary: Wide open mind needed
Review: I am an animal lover. I was thus drawn to this book. It reads much like those Chicken Soup for the Soul Books. I found these animal stories full of nonsense. I love a good fantasy world and that is what these people are living in. Please don't try to convince me that a hamster fixing a lawn mower is reality oriented. This book is only for the most mystically gullible.

Review: I bought this book and read it after reading Allen and Linda Anderson's other book titled GOD'S MESSENGERS: What Animals Teach Us about the Divine. ANGEL ANIMALS is a feel good and thought provoking book to read! All the well written stories offer a unique viewpoint on the special (some would say spiritual) bond we have with our pets and with animals in the wild. Dr. Marty Becker writes a wonderful foreword and endorses the spiritual theme of the book with enthusiasm. I highly recommend this book and the Anderson's other book, GOD'S MESSENGERS!!!

Review: I enjoyed this book of inspiring animal short stories. True stories of our spirituality and that of animals. I love the idea that spirituality is in our everyday lives, appearing in practical ways. Review: I have never read a book that was so touching to my heart as Angel Animals. Having animals most of my life, I missed a lot of clues that they gave me. This book reminded me of the wonderful times I had with my dogs, cats, birds, etc. I have recommended this book to everyone I know.
