Review: This book is filled with pictures you won't see elsewhere. Many charming candids and lots of informal shots, which means that a good number aren't of optimal photographic quality (too dark, &c.). Some caption misidentifications, but otherwise wonderful.

Review: This is a beautiful book, with lots of candid family photographs. However I was expecting more pictures of Nicholas' immediate family (children),but instead found more pictures of his sister Olga and of Princess Irene (Alexandra's sister). But if you are a Romanov fanatic you will still love this book!
