Review: Beautifully lettered titles can make the difference in the appearance of our scrapbook pages. As a busy person who still wants classy-looking pages, cutting out those letters from templates is too time-consuming to do for every layout. This is where Becky's book is such an inspiration. With clear directions and numerous visual examples, she show even those of us with terrible penmanship how to letter wonderful and creative titles. Beyond showing how to do the lettering, she gives inspiration for clean, classic layouts in all her examples. She provides many ideas for how to place the letters, so that these 50 fonts can provide a multitude of looks. There are a lot of books on the market to help us improve our lettering, but if you are looking for only one, this is the one I'd suggest.

Summary: THE ONE CREATIVE LETTERING BOOK YOU NEED !
Review: Don't be mislead by the bland cover -- this is a terrific book ! Each of the alphabets is shown in full, along with two or three samples of the alphabet being used in a scrapbooking page or invitation. AND, the author gives details on how she drew and colored the letters, as well as suggestions for accomplishing different effects. The alphabets and illustrations are classy -- not like some kids were just having fun with pens. Having bought several other books before this one, I say, "This one's the best." I wish I'd known about it FIRST.

Summary: A Great Useful Book
Review: Even though this book is about drawing letters, I think the book's strengh is in the excellent examples of layout presentation that you could use for scrap books, brochures etc.
This book is very visual with a vast amount of layout ideas. The pictures are vivid and very clear - good quality. I bought this book for my three children to help with their projects for school. They have mostly used it for projects that require bristol board layouts. Their projects look great thanks to this book and they all have received an "A" on their project. I highly recommend this book for any student, it is very simple to follow the examples given and gives great ideas to make your own variations. The scrapbook pictures in this book are just beautiful, anyone could do this, even an eight year old could make a scrapbook page, what a wonderful gift that would make for a grandparent.
The only thing I found a bit dissappointing about this book was thinking that I could do the letters. All the letters in this book are beautiful and visually appealing, however the majority of them are far too difficult to duplicate. Even my 12 year old daughter, who is quite artistic had a hard time making the letters, except for the very basic ones. We opted to print the letters in a nice font on the computer and then cut them out in individual square boxes, this looked great when using her layout ideas. We just bought another copy for a Christmas present for one of my daughter's friends. Girls will really enjoy this book, there are so may ideas.

Summary: This book is all-around spectacular
Review: I absolutely adore this book...great for the scrapbooker. The format of it is so readable, so colorful and very inviting. I love to just look through the book and examine her layouts. She gives step by step instructions for mastering each font by style, and the colors and pictures are very motivating. I have already used many of the fonts. She is a wonderful letterer and scrapbooker!

Review: I absolutely love this book! There are so many ideas and examples that it's hard to not find something you can use. I get bored using the same little alphabet stickers on my scrapbook pages and everytime I see one of Becky's pages, it's got the greatest lettering on it so I knew I just had to buy this book. If you are a scrapaholic, you just have to add this book to your collection! Also, you never know....you might find a picture in one of her books of someone you know, like I did!

(And it can inspire your pages as well) If you enjoy lettering and want to expand your horizions or if you are a beginner I would suggest this book be in your library. I have definately used it when I am stuck, in a rut, or want to try something new and different!

Review: I consistently reach for this book when it comes to creating interesting titles in my scrapbook. It is also useful for designing greeting cards, nametags, and other hand lettered items. The variety of fonts allows one to create a mood with the lettering.

Review: I could do OK lettering, but after reading and implementing this book, I can do spectacular lettering! In addition to 50 great alphabets that can be used in every variety of scrapbooking pages, this book also gives detailed instructions on how to flawlessly create them yourself. It goes on to give suggestions on how to place your titles on the page for maximum impact and includes dozens of new scrapbook page ideas. If you prefer heading your pages yourself instead of using a computer, then this is the only book you need! It's so easy to adapt any of the alphabets to your personal needs and tastes.
