Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A Look At The Losers Of Plato Review: This book is, by far, the single best-written book about the interlocutors of Socrates as they appear in Plato's dialogues. When studying Plato or Socrates it is important to understand something about the person whom Socrates is arguing with. These people were well known in Athens and well known by the Athenians Reading the Dialogues. Plato wrote to incorporate the personalities of the interlocutors, and it effects how Socrates forms the arguments within the dialogues, so understanding the interlocutors is crucial. This book seriously deals with the issue of who these people are and gives the reader a better understanding of ancient Athens, Plato, Socrates, and the interlocutors themselves
