Summary: A Brilliant Collection
Review: A miraculous literary work -very personal and gutsy. When people read about September 11 decades from now, this will remain a seminal text. Also, there's a video, an album and a website (anotherworldispossible.net) that go with it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Nice review, gobushgo
Review: Did you read this book? I somehow doubt it, you ignoramus. Oh, and tripe is not an adjective. Did you mean "trite"? As in "we have been long subjected to trite phrases such as `left-wing media' from conservative brainwashers."

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: New insights and opinions always helpful.
Review: It probably is not the best put together book that I have ever seen, but some of the views expressed are groundbreaking in the sense that they are being stifled by the conservative bias in the media.
I saw one of the editors, Jeremy Glick, on Fox news and the moderator was so rude to him that he wasn't even given a chance to speak. For too long in America, we have been [forced] into thinking that the media is liberal, when in fact, mainstream media is among the most conservative thought going. The editors of this book may have been a little amateurish in the execution of the book, but the thought is provoking- and that is what they were going after anyway.

Summary: everyone should read this
Review: one of the strengths of this anthology is the diversity of voices and perspectives contained within. The book seeks to examine root causes of the attack and to broaden the debate around where to go from here. Good mix of moving and heartfelt material, as well as critical analysis.

Lots of input around responses and solutions from key figures ranging from Angela Davis, Deepak Chopra, Arundahti Roy, Edward Said, as well as firefighters and folks who lost loved ones.

After reading this, I felt like I understood more fully the complexities of the situation we face. The book does a good job of breaking things down in a clear fashion. As a collection of essays and emails and poetry and photographs, it moved fast.

Summary: sobering
Review: This book with more words than emotions, succeeds in getting many people's perceptions of what happened during the 9-11 tragedy across. Focusing on historic events, the ongoing oppression and racism in the U.S. and the events the led up to the attacks, Another World is Possible has opened our collective wound to conversation and dialogue within ourselves and our greater community.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: sobering
Review: Truth, although severe, is a true friend. The blunt edges of this anthology will never turn its back on the other side of the story that CNN and mainstream media outlets choose to ignore. You have a choice.

Summary: More junk from the left
Review: Utter garbage. When will the leftist stop regurgitating their tripe rhetoric.
