Review: Another extremely worthy book for the collector of US martial arms. Canfields well researched book shows almost every Shotgun used by the armed forces from the early days to the present. Not only the well known Winchester guns but also the secondary types pressed into service. The book includes closeup pictures of the markings, accessories and differences of every type. Rare photos of US soldiers, wearing shotguns in combat are included. Appendix with tables on markings and serial numbers. A highly recommended work for the collector and the historian as well.
