Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not the best of this series
Review: I own and prize the TECHNIQUES books about the Japanese Infantryman and the US Marines. This work lacks their detail. Panzergrenadier is pretty good, but not up to their standard.

Summary: A Short Overview
Review: This book is a good read. And of high quality. The book does a good job of giving an overview of the Panzergrenadier through the war years. But the subject is not covered in depth. For the subject is quite ambitious for a 95 page book. This is a very good introduction to German mobile infantry tactics of the time. And how it had to evolve over the war years to meet the new demands the soldiers faced.

Summary: Limited Overview of Panzergrenadiers
Review: This book only gave a brief description of tactics, weapons and operations. Perhaps it was too ambitious to cover this broad a topic in one book. However, it was well-written and does address most of these topics.

As an introductory text for those new to German infantry it would probably be a good read. I am currently looking for a more detailed book on the subject especially concerning operations on the Eastern Front.
